6 kilo's of Mail-Interviews

Today my order of books from LuLu arrived. 6 kilo's of Mail-Interviews. As you can see the books are quite thick. Some are 360+ pages thick. If you are interested, you can order one or all of them yourself at: http://stores.lulu.com/iuoma The copies that arrived in Breda now are for the TAM-Archive itself. The selling of the books goes quite well. About 50 are already sold and are now in some Mail-Art collections for sure. I am working on a new book as well. Details will follow when the time is right.

Your moment with Zen

Saturday May 17th found me back in the Tiki Room recording studio doing my engineer thing with the star of Vampire Flesh Miss Zen Josey.  Although the film I am working on is silent I thought it might be nice to give the character of Eris a voice and so I engaged Miss Josey to read the poem Vampire Flesh to become part of this film's trailer. Everything went well that afternoon even with record breaking temperatures outside (98 F in the city of Fullerton, CA. that day) and we finished our recording session in just under an hour. Something strange took place during this photograph I can't quite explain it perhaps I caught the first image ever of Fluxus-Vampireism at work?

Il termine Fluxus viene coniato per rappresentare un progetto mirato alla fusione di tutte le arti, rispettando comunque le specifiche di queste.Oltre ad un movimento artistico espressivo, Fluxus può essere definito un atteggiamento nei confronti della vita, un tentativo di eliminare la linea di divisione tra esistenza e creazione artistica.

Gli artisti di Fluxus esprimono la casualità e la quotidianità delle cose: essi infatti non si basano sullo studio di oggetti privilegiati o sacri ma rappresentano l'arte attraverso un concetto ludico, abbandonando i valori estetici (in reazione all'Espressionismo astratto) per concentrarsi su humor e non-sense.

Anche il gioco di parole, la creazione di un titolo significativo per booklets da far circolare, con vari interventi nelle pagine bianche, la domanda: How are you Fluxus?, la ideazione del percorso da rabdomante che usa due bacchette a X ma anche la bacchetta a forcella “Y”, inserito nella trasformazione del gioco-movimento FLUXUS diventa “fattore Y” e quindi FLUXYUS, proposto e ideato dai “rabdomaker” (dowsermaker) Bruno Chiarlone e Lancillotto Bellini.
